The best Shopify themes for fashion and footwear in 2026, ranked
Fashion sells on the lookbook and closes on fit. The theme has to do both.
In our ranking Ecomfella is the best Shopify theme for fashion in 2026, with Prestige the best established choice for a premium label and Impulse the best for a drop-led brand. Fashion has two jobs a theme must do at once: sell the look with large imagery and close the sale with fit, size and proof. We ranked on both, and unlike most lists we can show the theme on real fashion stores: Hike, a comfort footwear brand, and Loop, an accessories brand, are both built on Ecomfella and documented section by section in the showcase.
The two jobs a fashion theme has to do
The first job is the lookbook: a homepage and collection pages that let photography carry the brand, with large heroes, campaign banners, editorial grids and media that moves. Most premium themes do this well and it is what a fashion demo store shows you. The second job is quieter and decides whether the order happens: fit guidance next to the size selector, a variant picker that makes the chosen size and colour unmistakable, proof from people who have worn it, and a cart that shows exactly what was picked. That is where demos are silent and where themes differ most.
A footwear store adds a fit finder and returns confidence; an accessories store adds product education, because a shopper needs to understand why this bag or this case before they will pay for it. We ranked on the lookbook and on the closing tools, and we checked the closing tools on two real stores rather than a demo.
The ranking at a glance
Six themes a fashion brand would realistically shortlist, ranked on the lookbook and on the closing tools together.
| Rank | Theme | Maker | Best for | Our verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Ecomfella | Ecomfella | Labels that need the lookbook and the closing tools in one theme | Two real fashion stores in the showcase; fit, proof and product education native |
| 2 | Prestige | Maestrooo | Premium labels with editorial photography | The reference lookbook; closing tools arrive as apps |
| 3 | Impulse | Archetype Themes | Drop-led brands with frequent campaigns | The best promotional toolkit; product page ceiling arrives early |
| 4 | Impact | Maestrooo | A bold label with a few pieces at a time | Launch energy, narrows as the range grows |
| 5 | Horizon | Shopify | A new label on no budget | The best free start; fit and proof become apps |
| 6 | Dawn | Shopify | A first store | Fast and honest; everything beyond the basics is an app |
1. Ecomfella: shown on Hike and Loop
Hike is a comfort-first footwear brand that sells on proof. Its Ecomfella homepage runs a hero, bestsellers, an image with benefits, customer reviews, impact stats and a fit finder, so the shopper moves from the look to the evidence to the right size without leaving the page. The collection page opens on a banner and repeats the reviews under the product grid. The product page is the product information section with its blocks arranged for footwear.
Loop is an accessories brand whose whole storefront is product education: a hero, benefit columns, a stats bar, the founders, UGC videos and a newsletter on the homepage; a product grid, FAQ and newsletter on the collection page; and a product page with a why-choose-it block under the product information. Two very different fashion stores, one theme, and every section of both is in the showcase with the settings that produced it.
Behind those two stores is the toolbox: eleven hero layouts, twenty media sections for lookbooks, video and before-and-after, ten review and proof sections, and a product section with 53 blocks including sizing, linked products, bundles, stock and trust. The premium editorial direction gives a label the Prestige-style lookbook; the product page then closes the sale without an app. We are the newer name, so we would rather you look at Hike and Loop than take our word for it.
- Hike: hero, bestsellers, benefits, reviews, impact stats, fit finder, all native.
- Loop: benefit columns, stats, founders, UGC video, FAQ, all native.
- Eleven heroes, twenty media sections, ten proof sections, 53 product blocks.
- Every section of both stores documented in the showcase.
2 and 3. Prestige and Impulse
Prestige is the reference lookbook and the theme we would name first among established choices for a premium label with editorial photography. Generous whitespace, large imagery and a calm product page let the clothes do the talking. Its limits are the closing tools: fit guidance, proof and cart detail tend to arrive as apps, and it needs strong photography on every page or the layout feels empty.
Impulse is the drop-led choice. Countdown timers, promotional grids, quick buy from the collection grid and a slide-out cart with upsells make a launch easy to stage, and its editing experience and documentation are among the best on the Theme Store. Its product page, at 16 blocks in the release we measured, is where a label with sizing, materials and care content reaches for apps.
4 to 6. Impact, Horizon and Dawn
Impact suits a bold label that releases a few pieces at a time: big type, strong colour, motion and a homepage that gives one piece an unmistakable path to the buy button. It narrows as the range grows. Horizon is the best free start for a new label, with a Fabric preset aimed at boutiques; fit guidance, proof and cart detail become apps early. Dawn is the fast, honest baseline, and for fashion its minimalism shows quickly, because a size guide, a review grid and a lookbook are all apps on Dawn.
Which one should you pick
If you want the lookbook and the closing tools in one theme, and you want to see it on real fashion stores before paying, pick Ecomfella and look at Hike and Loop in the showcase. If you run a premium label with editorial photography and you are happy to add apps for fit and proof, pick Prestige. If your brand lives on drops, pick Impulse. If there is no budget, start on Horizon and keep a list of the apps you add.
Then test the second job, not the first: on a phone, pick a size, read the fit guidance, add to cart and check the cart shows the size and colour. The theme that does that cleanly is the one that will sell for you.
- Test the size and colour selection on a phone, then check the cart.
- Check where fit guidance and proof live: theme or app.
- Compare the lookbook with your own photography, not the demo’s.
- Look at two real stores on the theme before buying.
