Ecomfella vs Prestige: premium look against a deeper toolbox

Prestige is the theme people mean when they say a store looks expensive, and for a premium brand with exceptional photography it is a fine choice. Ecomfella ships 167 addable sections against Prestige's 32 and 53 product blocks against 28 in the releases we measured. Choose Prestige when imagery is your whole argument; choose Ecomfella when the product page and cart have work to do beyond looking beautiful.

Who wrote this, and how the numbers were made

Ecomfella wrote this page and Ecomfella is one of the two themes on it, so read it as the maker's case, not a neutral review. What we can offer instead of neutrality is a method you can repeat: we downloaded Prestige, opened the source and counted with the same rule we apply to our own theme. A section counts when its schema offers a preset, which is exactly what the Theme Editor lets you add to a page. A block counts when the product section declares it. A setting counts when it carries an id.

The release and the date are recorded next to every number, because themes change. When Prestige ships a major release we count again and move the date. Nothing here is a claim about your conversion rate, your speed or your sales; those depend on your store and no theme maker can promise them.

The counts

Prestige has the deepest product page of the classic premium themes, and the numbers show it: 28 product blocks in release 11.1.0. It is also closer to Ecomfella on section files than Impulse is. The distance opens up on addable sections and on product settings.

Where Prestige is the better buy

Prestige, by Maestrooo, is an editorial theme: generous whitespace, large imagery, refined typography and a product page that lets photography make the argument. For a premium product where the buyer needs to trust rather than hurry, that restraint is exactly the right mechanic, and Prestige executes it better than almost anything on the Theme Store.

Choose Prestige if you sell a premium product, you have large and consistent photography for every page, and you value a refined product page over a large section library. It has a long Theme Store history and a purchase and update route every merchant knows.

Where Ecomfella is the better buy

Prestige punishes weak content: without strong imagery on every page the layout looks empty, and its 32 addable sections lean toward presentation rather than selling tools, so the cart and the conversion details are where you feel the gap first. Ecomfella ships 167 addable sections, ten complete cart directions from restrained to conversion-led, and a product section with 53 blocks and 122 settings.

Ecomfella also has a premium editorial direction of its own, and the showcase stores in beauty, skincare and sleep show what it looks like with real photography. The difference is that when the product page has to carry sizing, materials, bundles, stock and trust content as well as beauty, it can, without an app. And all of it is in the theme you download: no subscription, no access to your live store.

  • Prestige: premium product, exceptional photography, calm product page.
  • Ecomfella: premium direction plus a product page and cart that carry the selling.
  • Both: test with your own photography before deciding.

Run the same test on both

Pick your most complicated product, your simplest one and one that is out of stock. On a phone, in each theme, open the menu, find the collection, choose a variant, read the whole description, add to cart, change the quantity and go back to shopping. Write down every step that needed an app, a workaround or a developer.

Then list the apps you would still pay for after buying the theme. That monthly total, not the theme price, is the honest cost comparison. Keep the date on your notes and redo the test when either maker ships a major release.

Questions before you decide

Is Ecomfella more premium than Prestige?

Prestige is the reference for the premium editorial look and we do not pretend otherwise. Ecomfella has a premium editorial direction and far more selling tools behind it; whether that matters depends on how much work your product page has to do.

Which has the deeper product page?

Ecomfella, with 53 product blocks and 122 settings against Prestige's 28 and 12 in the releases we measured. Prestige is the deepest of the classic premium themes.

Are these Prestige numbers official?

No. They are our counts from the Prestige source using one published rule, with the release and date recorded. Anyone with the theme can repeat them.
